Shelf & Rod shelving is ideal for use in closets, wardrobes, airing cupboards and utility rooms, providing shelving with an integrated hang bar. The hang bar is already a part of the shelf, which sits at 10" / 25.4cm from the back wall once installed, making it easy to mount with fewer parts!
You are purchasing an off-cut piece of this shelving. Offered at a discounted price, to compensate for often including the "factory end". The length available may not match your measurement, but don't worry as our shelving can be adjusted by trimming the length down with a pair of boltcutters or a hacksaw! You may wish to add our end caps (product code #203 & #204) to hide the ends of your shelving. You will need 6 x #203 & 4 x #204 per finished shelf.
If using this shelving for a reach in wardrobe, please allow a depth of at least 22" / 55cm. If using for a walk in wardrobe, please ensure a minimum width of 58" / 147cm (this would give you an 'L' shape of hanging space).
If you intend to create two tier hanging, please allow a minimum ceiling height of 85" / 216cm.
If you intend to create long hanging space, please allow a minimum ceiling height of 72" / 183cm, however, if you would like to put shoe racks below, please allow a minimum ceiling height of 85" / 216cm!
When ordering, don't forget your fixing hardware!! You do NOT need additional hang bar for this style of shelving!
