Our packages are a great way to get you started with ClosetMaid.
They include all of the shelving and hardware that you need to create a wardrobe as illustrated in the design pictures above. Packages are delivered flat packed, with assembly instructions, labelled hardware, and informative diagrams for easy installation.
This package uses the ClosetMaid's SuperSlide style shelving & hang bars with Adjustable ShelfTrack Hardware.
The package will include:
1 x Full width top shelf for flat and folded items
1 x Two tier hanging section for short garments up to 91cm / 36" wide
1 x Shelf section for storing flat and folded garments up to 61cm / 24" wide
1 x Long hanging section up to 91cm / 36" wide, with additional storage shelf above
1 x Shoe shelf up to 91cm / 36" wide, which will hold between 4 & 5 pairs of shoes
If your enclosure is less than 244cm / 8' wide then you can trim the shelving & hang bars down to suit your exact measurements with a hacksaw or boltcutters. End caps are provided to cover the cut ends of shelving & hang bars.
You can choose your preferred depth of shelf from the options above, as well as the side wall availability which is required so that we can ensure we send you the correct hardware. All ShelfTrack hardware is mounted to rear wall only.
Note that if you opt for 16" deep shelving the shoe shelf will still use 12" deep shelving.
Stud Walls - We will provide toggle bolt hardware which does not require fixing directly to the studs.
Solid Walls - We will provide screws with anchors/ rawl plugs, you can also use these fixings with stud walls if you are fixing directly into wooden studs.
We recommend a minimum enclosure depth of 58cm (23") to accomodate the hanging garments.
If your closet is shallower than this please contact designteam@organisemyhome.com.
When creating two tier hanging sections for adults garments we recommend placing the top tier shelf 213cm (84") from the floor and the lower at 106cm (42"). The hang bars sit 10cm (4") below the shelves creating a 96cm (38") long hanging drop.
If your have doors across the front of the enclosure that are less than 220cm (86") high we'd recommend selecting 12" deep shelving so you can make use of the top shelf or contact designteam@organisemyhome.com to discuss alternative options.
